This Jeff Beck recordings listing is arranged in chronological order, except for the recordings
he made with the Yardbirds. Jeff Beck was a member of the Yardbirds for two years and some
of the recordings he made with them were not released until 14 years later. All records listed
are US and England, unless otherwise specified.
1964

45-6385) US (Thought to feature Jeff Beck or Jimmy Page) Some have told us recently however that there's
no way that that is Jeff on this record.
- SCREAMING LORD SUTCH - "Dracula's Daughter"/"Come Back Baby" (Oriole CB 1962) England. Jeff
Beck is one of the session players, A-side also featured Paul Dean, Pete Phillips and others.
(Song also available on "Screaming Lord Sutch Story" (bootleg) Lp released in the US in 1986.
- NIGHTSHIFT - "Stormy Monday"/"That's My Story" English single. (Piccadilly 7N 35264), England.
(reportedly recorded in 1962, not released until 1965)
- THE TRIDENTS - 2 songs (titles unknown) recorded for a demo. One song was an instrumental.

- FITZ AND STARTZ - "I'm Not Running Away" (Parlourphone RS 216) England.
- VARIOUS ARTISTS - "Anthology Of British Blues" Lp (Immediate IMALO 34), England 1971. Although
the songs each appeared seperately on different compilations, Jimmy Page and Jeff Beck perform
"Steelin'" and "Chuckles". Other compilations which include these songs are: "Eric Clapton, Jeff
Beck and Jimmy Page - Guitar Boogie" (RCA AFLT 4624) and "Various Artists - White Boy Blues Classic

- "Over, Under, Sideways, Down" (Epic BN 26210) US, (EMI SCX 6063) England (under the title "The Yardbirds"). (August) Beck appears
on every song, plays bass on title song and sings "The Nazz Are Blue". (Note: US mono version differs
from the US stereo version, the guitar arrangements on "Lost Woman", "He's Always There" and more
noticably "Hot House Of Omargarashid" have different solos.) Lp was reissued as "Roger The Engineer"
(Edsel ED 116) 1983 US and contains "Happening Ten Years Time Ago", "Psycho Daisies" (which Beck
sings).

- "Faces, Places Volume II" (Compilation Lp) (BYG Actuel 529.911) (Jan) French import contains
for the first time: "For RSG" (an alternate studio version of "Here Tis"), "Someone To Love (Part One)"
(a backing track to "Lost Woman"), "Someone To Love (Part Two)" (which is longer version of
"Someone To Love (Part One)").

- "Shapes of Things" (Charly Records Box 104) (a seven record box set) England, The "Odds and
Sods" record contains "Chris' Number" (an instrumental recorded in 1966) and backing tracks to

Rereleased in 1972 as a picture disc with "Rock My Plimsoul" as an extra song. A-side not
available on Lp until 1987 on "The Best of Jeff Beck (1967-69)" Lp (Fame FA 41 3125) US# B-side
available on "Truth" Lp 1968.

- IMOGEN HEAP "SPEAK FOR YOURSELF" - (Megaphonic Megacd001) On Dec. 9th 2004 Jeff Beck stopped into the studio where
Imogen was recording her new lp. He agreed to put a few bare quick lightning fast solo blurb on "Goodnight And Go".
After the session was done he told Immi that she ought to contact us to let fans know that there was another bit of
Jeff Beck out there! 'Turns out that track made it on US TV airwaves as a centerpiece to the hit show The OC. Ironically
it also made it on to an OC compilation which also featured a track from "the other Beck". Hah The only lp in existance
with two Becks
- URSUS MINOR "ZUGZWANG" - (Hopestreet HS 10046) A studio project spun out of the Ad Hoc blending of Jazz, New Age, and
rap by pioneer Tony Hymas from Paris several years ago. Jeff pops in and out (named by the group "The Traveler") on four
tracks most notably on "Square Dance Rap" as he engages in a three way trading solos format with Tony and guitarist Jeff
Lee Johnson.
- LES PAUL AND FRIENDS "AMERICAN MADE, WORLD PLAYED" - (Capital 09463-34064-z-1) Jeff was Les's first pick for the project
and Mr. Beck fails to disappoint as he chickin pick's his way to an updated version of the original Sam Cooke classic (Ain't
That) Good News" complete with Sam's original vocals off of the Capital Records master tapes.
- CYNDI LAUPER "THE BODY ACOUSTIC" (Epic EPICp568 (Japan) US release followed) - Jeff reunites with keyboardist Jed Lieber
(Frankie's House) to record another version of a Jed/Jeff tune written back when they were working together called "Above The
Clouds". Cyndi got introduced to them at the Grammies and one figures since she is on Epic (and YES JEFF HAS RESIGNED WITH THEM
TOO!) that managers got together and she wrote lyrics and the rest is history. Elegant tastefull Jeff lines with him doing harmonics
syncing with her voice on the last verse.
